Meet Dr. Himanee Patel (Evanston, IL)

Himanee Patel earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2022 and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2017.

Dr. Patel's professional development also included the completion of a post-graduate optometric residency program in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, IL. Her areas of keen optometric interest include primary care, ocular disease, emergency eye care, glaucoma, and dry eye. Dr. Patel has notably shared her insights at numerous optometric conferences nationwide and has achieved fellowship status through the American Academy of Optometry.

Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Patel enjoys spending quality time with her spouse, exploring new destinations, reading, playing tennis, and baking.
